ABOUT US

HITCitizenship

Here Is The City - HITC - knows City workers are under a lot of pressure. Let off a little steam with us as a HITCitizen.

HITCitizens tell a City audience of tens of thousands what's going on: the coolest club, the craziest weekend break or the most techno whiz-bang gadget they’ve come across. HITCitizens pass judgment on the latest films, books and music - good, bad and ugly. HITCitizens tell jokes and tell it like it is. We’re open to new ideas - tell us what you’d like to do and tell your friends! Anybody out there want to draw City cartoons or write on sports or motors?

Why turn into a HITCitizen?  To stand out from the crowd, build a following and grab some bragging rights. We're not looking for experts but enthusiasts - City denizens who want to be at the hub of the City conversation and the Here Is The City community.  From time to time we will offer up prizes - discounts, free tix or meals out, who knows? - to thank you.

Click here to register as a HITCitizen and join us in making the City - and Here Is The City - a better place.

The Market is in Your Hands

In times like these (the job market can't decide whether it's up or down, the FTSE and Dow make huge gains one day and then fall back the next, your boss's mood swings bounce like a teeter totter, and even your morning commute is getting worse and worse), it's best to maintain a positive attitude.  more

Can a City Girl Become a Country Girl?

Take the shops and the bars away, the people and the Tube, and what have you got? The countryside.
